About the Project
CampusCrave is a hyper-local food ordering platform built for college campuses by Xenotix Labs. Students order from multiple canteen vendors, pay via a digital wallet, and track order preparation in real time. The admin panel gives campus food managers full visibility into orders, inventory, and revenue.

Order from multiple canteens on the same campus in a single checkout. Smart routing ensures each vendor receives their orders separately.
Live preparation status — Order Received → Being Prepared → Ready for Pickup — displayed in real time via WebSockets.
Pre-load wallet balance via UPI or card. Parents can top up remotely. No cash, no delays, no lost change.
Pre-order for specific time slots to guarantee food is ready when class ends — no more missing lunch between lectures.
Vendor-facing tablet app for real-time order management, menu updates, inventory tracking, and daily revenue reports.
Friends can pool orders together and split payment automatically. Perfect for hostel common rooms.
The Problem
College canteens in India operated on cash-only, first-come-first-served chaos. Long queues, wrong orders, and zero data meant canteen managers could not forecast demand or manage inventory. Students regularly missed food during peak hours.
Our Solution
We built a three-sided platform: a React Native student app, a vendor tablet app (React Native), and a Next.js campus management dashboard. A custom queue-management algorithm balances orders across vendors and prevents over-ordering. Firebase Realtime Database powers the live order status tracking.
