Food delivery is a race against a kitchen timer — build the software that wins it
A food order has a short life. It is placed, accepted, cooked, picked up and delivered inside an hour, and every one of those steps belongs to a different person using a different app — the customer, the restaurant, the rider. When those apps drift out of sync, food sits on the counter, riders wait, and customers cancel. Most of the work in a good food delivery platform is in that synchronisation, not in the menu screens.
We build food delivery apps for India around an order engine with explicit states. Restaurants accept with a prep time, riders are assigned to arrive as food is ready rather than the moment it is ordered, and every state change is pushed to all three apps in real time. Commissions, delivery fees and GST-ready invoices are rules in the admin, not hard-coded numbers.
Not every client needs a Swiggy-scale marketplace. A single restaurant brand or a cloud-kitchen group usually needs a customer app and a kitchen dashboard; a college campus needs ordering, pickup queues and a student wallet. CampusCrave, the campus food-ordering app we built, has been live on Google Play since 2023 with exactly that wallet. We size the build to the business you run.
Pricing follows our Zomato-like cost guide: ₹8–12 lakh for a basic build, ₹12–20 lakh for a full-featured platform, and ₹20–40 lakh or more for multi-city enterprise operations. You get a fixed quote after a free discovery call, and a working build every Friday once we start.
